regulatory surveys and received no deficiencies. Identified outbreaks of

multi-drug resistant Acinetobacter baumannii and worked with the Arizona

Department of Health Services to identify cross transmission and eliminate

it. Discovered cross transmission of Pseudomonas aeruginosa resulting in a

ventilator related pneumonia in the surgical ICU, and worked to get process

changes to prevent further cases (case study in preparation stage for

publishing).

Infection control clinician, John C. Lincoln Deer Valley hospital, 2005 -

2009. 179 bed community hospital. Surveillance, data collection and

analysis, reporting to committees, of targeted and outbreak

infections/diseases. Chairing ad hoc committees. Preparation for HFAP

surveys. Working in conjunction with John C. Lincoln North Mountain,

writing and reviewing policies to facility and network requirements.
