I have worked for seven years in the hog confinement industry. I started at
the entry level and through my work ethic and determination have advanced
through all leadership roles up to and including farm management.
My previous experiences include truck driving, welding, equipment
operation, and general farm labor.
Work History-
Christensen Family Farms- January 2007-current
Farm Manager: requires daily scheduling and supervision of twenty people.
It also requires supply orders and management as well as production
practices to achieve company goals.
Iowa Select Farms- May 2003- January 2007
Lead Person: required daily scheduling and supervision of four to six
people. I coordinated daily with the farm manager to ensure that the daily
requirements were met by me and the people I was supervising.
Caldwell Farmers Coop- May 1999- April 2003
Truck Driver: required keeping daily log books and delivering feed to
customers. I also made feed according to customer specifications. I also
spread fertilizer and lime on fields for customers.
Chisholm Trail Feeds- June 1997- May 1999
Truck Driver: drove a tractor trailer to deliver feed to customers in
Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.
J-Mac Industries- June 1996- June 1997
Welder: welded aluminum with the TIG process. Built tailgates and headache
racks for pickup trucks.
City of Medford Oklahoma- May 1990- June 1996
Street Department Laborer: required me to get a water and wastewater
license. I was responsible for general street repairs, mowing of city
property and taking care of the public swimming pool as well as digging up
and repairing water lines. I also acquired an applicators license for
pesticides and herbicides.

Lamoni High School: Four years
Graceland College: 1 year-general ed.
Cowley County Community College: 1 year- welding

I have maintained a class A cdl drivers license.
Welding with the stick and mig processes.
