I am looking for a permanent position with a firm that can utilize my 20

years of experience in civil engineering design and construction. This

experience includes management and design of projects for NTTA, TxDOT,

Angelina River Authority, and several Texas municipalities including:

Pearland, Dallas, Moscow, Daisetta, Lufkin, and Sachse. I am able to work

in both Autocad with Softdesk, or Microstation with Geopak; and use all

Microsoft Office software.

PROJECT RELATED EXPERIENCE:

IEA, Inc. 2009 to 2010

DFW Connection - I designed the required waterline relocations for the

proposed DFWC project highway realignment, and reviewed the proposed

drainage and sanitary sewer alignments.

President George Bush Turnpike EE - I perform the SW3P inspections for

Sections 28, 29,30, and 31 of the construction project including all site

preparation, erosion control device status and recommendation, on-site

restroom facilities, debris removal, and adjoining roadway conditions. I

also complete all forms and final checks for performance of the SW3P

systems on site.

Review plans for the DFW Connector (SH 114 and SH 121) through Grapevine

and Southlake, including but not limited to water and sewer line

relocations and ROW and easement requirements.

SH 121 / Dallas North Tollway Interchange (DNT) - Design the SWPPP plans

for the interchange construction

DART Orange Line - Design the SWPPP for the DART Orange Line construction,

and review ROW maps.

DFW Connector - Prepared drainage plans and reviewed water and sewer line

relocations, and verified geopak chains for the water and sewer lines, as

well as the dry utility construction plans.

Bidgefarmer & Associates, Inc. 2008 (Contract Engineer)

SH 121 / US 75 Interchange (NTTA) - Drainage design QA/QC engineer. My

tasks included HECRAS analysis of Sloan Creek, preparing a Hydraulic

Report, developing plans for cross drainage culverts, and independently

verifying storm drainage in Geopak Drainage.

SH 121 Section 3N (NTTA) - Design engineer. My tasks included a rapid

response drainage design on Section 3N to accommodate a client requested

mainlane profile revision.

Loop 12 / SH 114 Interchange (TxDOT) - Design engineer. I modified the

profile of a 50" RCP to clear utilities after DART rail tracks were added.

I also reanalyzed the culverts located along Loop 12 with HEC-RAS to update

the drainage analysis done previously in THYSIS.

Magnolia Road (City of Pearland) - Design engineer. I designed detention

ponds, culverts, and storm drains to accommodate Pearland's very flat

terrain.

BWR Inc. 2007 - 2008 (Design Engineer)

FM 407 - I designed a waterline relocation for the construction of FM 407

Bunker Hill Rd (City of Sachse) - I prepared concept plans for

reconstruction.

Brockett Street (City of Sherman) - I prepared concept plans for the design

and drainage.

Klotz Associates 2004 - 2007 (Design Engineer)

Angelina and Neches River Authority ANRA) Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP)

- I Prepared construction plans and documents for the repair of the ANRA

facility in Lufkin, Texas.

City of Crockett WWTP - I Prepared plans to repair the clarifier and the

legs to the digester of the wastewater treatment plant.

City of Palestine (Texas) Water Plant Lift Station - I Designed the in-

ground water holding tank and pipe system for backwashing the water supply

pump station filter.

Lufkin (Texas) Transit Terminal - I Prepared grading plans for a garage and

terminal building

GM Water Supply Corporation (Sabine County, TX)-

Water Supply Extension - I prepared a Preliminary Engineering Report (PER)

and construction plans for a USFS - 5,500 foot 6-inch water line and a

4,500 foot 4-inch water line.

Water Supply Improvements - I prepared the application for $4 million in

funding through a USDA RUS grant. After funding was obtained, I prepared

preliminary drawings and construction cost estimates for water system

improvements, prepared a PER and environmental report, designed a water

line replacement, water plant improvements, and new water well, and

provided field services and coordination with the USDA during construction.

City of Daisetta (Texas) - I prepared the application for a $4 million USDA

RUS grant. After funding was obtained, I prepared preliminary drawings and

construction cost estimates, wrote and submitted a PER and environmental

report for submittal to UDSA, provided survey and geotechnical

coordination, and was a design/inspection engineer through construction. I

reviewed the contractor payment requests and processed the requests for

payment.

City of Moscow (Texas) - I prepared the application for a $3 million USDA

RUS grant. After funding was obtained, I prepared preliminary drawings and

cost estimates, prepared and submitted a PER and environmental report to

the USDA, and was the design/inspection engineer through construction for a

water well rehabilitation and line replacement, and water plant

improvements. I reviewed the contractor payment requests and processed the

requests for payment.

City of Grapeland (Texas) - I prepared the application for a $250,000 Texas

Community Development Program (TCDP) Grant. After funding was obtained, I

designed a waterline replacement and 5,500 foot extension including fire

service. I reviewed the contractor payment requests and processed the

requests for payment.

Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas - I prepared foundation plans for the

proposed sewer treatment plant for the reservation, and met with the Tribal

Council, Indian Affairs, and contractors for the power supply, location of

sewer lines, manholes, and lift stations.

STV, Inc. 2002 - 2004 (Design Engineer)

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) - I reviewed plans for construction of

rail lines, including drainage, track profiles, and street intersections,

revised the tunnel inspection manual, designed and drafted track cross-over

in the downtown area.

Hunter Associates 1997 - 2002 (Design Engineer)

City of Ennis (Texas) Sonoma Trail

Sonoma Trail - I prepared plans, specifications, estimates, and ROW deeds

for the Sonoma Trail Roadway, and provided bid review and award and

construction-phase services including construction change order preparation

and negotiations, final punch list preparation, and construction

inspections. I reviewed the contractor payment requests and processed the

requests for payment.

Various City Streets - I prepared plans, specifications, estimates and

provided bid review and award and construction-phase services including

construction inspections, and final punch list preparation, as well as any

and all change orders for the projects. I reviewed the contractor payment

requests and processed the requests for payment.

City of Greenville (Texas) - Bethel Road Sewer Improvements - I prepared

construction plans, specifications, and estimates.

Castle Hills Golf Course, Denton County (Texas) - Prepared changes to the

Federal Emergency Management Agency flood map.

State of New York 1988 - 1997 (Hydraulic Engineer)

Hydraulic Engineer - I created stream profile models using HEC-2 and HEC-

RAS for bridge clearance and scour calculations, and designed scour

countermeasures for bridges owned by the State of New York and the local

municipalities. I also reviewed developer's plans for subdivisions and

shopping centers, inspected bridges for New York State Department of

Transportation (NYSDOT), performed quality control on reports generated by

other inspectors, and generated designs for bridges to be constructed by

NYSDOT and local state municipalities. I also prepared the Region Bridge

Scour Priority list for all the bridges located in the five (5) county

region of the state, and inspected the construction of scour revetment for

bridge abutments and piers, and maintained flood inspection records for the

installed scour revetments and embankments.

County of St. Lawrence - NY 1978 - 1988 (County Engineer)

County Engineer - I prepared plans for bridge widening and replacement

structures; inspected the construction of all roads and bridges during my

tenure including steel and concrete bridges and asphalt pavement plans with

drainage, and freight rail line modifications. I was also in charge of the

inspection of bridges for the county and local municipalities.
