Dec 2004 - Feb 2005
Coordinated and interfaced between different project team, plant
personnel layout design, installation review, process validation and
results analysis for the project, scrap, lines capability and productivity
improvement.
Running plant maintenance- Timely inspection of the working plant. If
problems arose, required action was taken. Maintenance of the two main
division's boiler plant and mill plant.
*Boiler maintenance- The draught systems (Induced draught system and Forced
draught system), Bagasse feeder and boiler tubes.

liquid jaggery.
TATA MOTORS RESEARCH CENTER
DESIGN RESEARCH ASSISTANT Dec
2006 - June 2007
Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India.
The project was to design a pneumatic system and mechanism of operation
. Design goal- A pneumatically actuated door system for a low floor CNG
(Compressed Natural Gas) bus.
. Design Challenges- A pneumatic system, the diameter calculation of the
pipe, the flow control systems, the lever system and making of the
working prototype model.
. TEAM SIZE-4, designed a pneumatically operated door system for bus
which is operated by the driver.
. The actuation systems are 5/3 pneumatic lever system, two flow control
valves, two pneumatic cylinders and two lever system on which the
pneumatic cylinder act so as to open and close the door.
. Calculated different aspects of design like pressure drop in the pipe
line, stresses and the force required for the opening of the system.
Developed a working prototype model.
