Senior Laboratory Technician

. Conducted Customs shoes testing: Trained by top Senior Science Officer

from United State Customs Service/Laboratory Division, attended lab and

logistic meetings to keep abreast with current customs rules and

information, experienced with testing various footwear upper surface,

textile outsole, overlap, and weight measurements according to US customs

rules using the Lasico that is equipped with separate digital processor,

responsible for testing 90% of samples submitted to the lab.

. ISO Certification: Participated in preparing and providing the necessary

documents needed for the ISO surveillance audit for the recertification

of the ISO 9001:2000.

Performed and ensured all testing equipments, hardness gauges and calipers

"Mitutoya Digimatic Digital" plus maintained and calibrated in accordance

with laboratory standards, inspects incoming material, operate analytical

test equipments.

Conducted testing of footwear materials, performed all calculations

necessary for the lab test methodologies, and input accurate results in

database to ensure accurate data is reported to the ISO and supplied to the

customers.

Responsible for testing, accepting or rejecting vendor products based on

the lab standards

Updated, maintained and distributed the standards manuals to ensure

consistency of laboratory testing practices, assist in quality related

training and awareness.

Performed quality visits/inspections of Shoemart/Kmart Departments and

reported quality issues to Buyers and QA/QC Departments.

Communicated with buyers, merchandisers, planners, and U.S. Customs

Officials to follow up on status of tests performed.
