Search business.

o Managed the Search FP&A team ($1.5B/yr in revenues, $300MM/yr opex). Monthly accounting close and

reporting, budget management, variance analyses and narrative.

o Responsible for overseeing capital expenditures for both Yahoo Search and Yahoo Search Marketing, representing

~$150MM of Yahoo’s yearly capex dollars.

Director, Operations Finance – Yahoo Search (Oct’05 –Apr’07)

o Built and supported Yahoo Search financial reporting tools and infrastructure that are still in use today, including

standard headcount reporting, opex flux analysis and capex ROI justification.

Directed activities of corporate FP&A group (including all business units), reporting to CFO

o Directly involved in accounting operations and monthly close process. Also responsible for monthly P&L

variance narratives and quarterly MD&A for inclusion in parent company 10-Q. Quarterly reviews with KPMG.

o Drove budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning with business leaders.

o Reviewed search distribution, paid inclusion and other revenue generating deals. Worked with Sales and

Marketing groups to determine appropriate deal pricing.

o Responsible for presenting financial information to executive management, and compiling financial information

for board meetings.

o Worked closely with CEO, CFO and investment bankers on M&A efforts, culminating in the sale of AltaVista’s

search businesses to Overture.
