o Develop/design study specific CRFs/regulatory documents for pharmacy use – some of which have been used by
sponsors in their clinical trials world wide.
o Coordinate drug delivery/supply and regulatory documents for multiple clinical trial sites throughout the Twin Cities
area.
o Experience with Regulatory documents.
o Assist CRAs with pharmacy related study documents during monitoring visits (site initiation/close outs).
o Coordinate with study coordinator for time and date for the preparation of patient study medication.
o Use IVRS/IWRS for patient specific study kit/vial assignment as well as shipment confirmation.
o Document all relevant study specific pharmacy on CRFs and drug accountabilities.
o Review clinical protocols for phase I IV clinical studies.
o Prepare study medication per protocol and within guidelines set by IRB, FDA, SOPs and GCPs.
o Review patient orders.
o Work with site study staff to ensure clinical trial study patient medication orders are properly written per protocol
and contact study team (PI or study nurse) when patient orders are incorrect or deviating from study protocol.
o Work quickly and efficiently to prepare study medication and record all needed study information.
o Train pharmacy students on rotation and volunteers within the Investigational Drug Pharmacy.
o Order study medication from sponsor when needed.
