I am experienced in the many computer programs that your firm implements to
provide quality designs and to ensure structural integrity. These programs
include, but are not limited to: Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Solidworks,
Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit Architecture, Autodesk Revit Structure,
Autodesk Ecotect, Autocad Civil 3D, Autodesk Architectural Desktop, and
Autocad Map 3D. I have provided many drawings for Patrick Henry Community
College that include: a map of the campus, architectural and structural
plans for the buildings on the campus, fire escape plans, parking lot site
additions for contractors, and asbestos removal plans for West Hall. Also,
I gained experience as a Structural/Civil Engineer while working at Mod-u-
kraf Homes in Rocky Mount, Virginia. While there I created Architectural
plans for many different houses ranging from ranches, to cape cods, to a
few commercial structures. I was also tasked with creating structural
plans as necessary to ease the overall workload of the construction crew.
For my Senior Design Project I chose to design and engineer a 25,000 sq.
ft. Fine Arts Building. This project passed all 2010 code specifications
and requirements for Virginia.

Used Various CADD programs to provide Fire Escape Plans, Maps,
Parking Lot Site additions for Contractor, and Asbestos Removal
Plan for buildings on PHCC.
Mod-U-Kraf Homes, Rocky Mount, Virginia 2006 - 2008
Employed as Engineering Draftsman. Responsibilities included
commercial and residential designs involving single and multi-
story structures. Contact with various contractors and sub-
contractors to achieve the desired customer specifications.
Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia 2010
Senior Design Project - Attended as a graduating student.
Responsibility included the design of a 25,000 SF Fine Arts
Building. This building was constructed from steel and concrete
and was then calced for all loading conditions. This building
was shown to meet all requirements for VA code. Copies of the
plans are available upon request.
