As a result of the acquisition of Wachovia by Wells Fargo a
Program/Project Management Office (PMO) was created for the Brokerage
technology and line of business consisting of 20 diverse technology
professionals with over three thousand clients. The PMO became the
single point-of-contact for all divisional projects, process, tools,
governance, and reporting for merger and non merger related projects and
any day to day requests.
. Directed and influenced the intense integration activities, project
plans, meeting coordination, status and corporate communications, then
successfully implemented the new Wells Fargo processes and tools.
. Restructured a team to manage the Demand management processes
centralizing all work requests through the IT work life cycle and
providing a medium for prioritization, funding and resource
allocation.
. Created a team to manage divisional tools - SharePoint, Planview,
CREST and STAMP.
. Created and structured a team responsible for the framework for a
pooled Project Management office focused on delivery and a process
that effectively tracks and communicates the state of work as required

Defined and executed the IT strategy in support of Treasury,
Operations and Finance's interactive business's to offset audit and SEC
challenges. Applications managed were for Back Office accounting,
Finance, OCC and SEC reporting, Derivatives, Mortgages, Bonds, Foreign
Bonds, all together the assets under management amounted to $ 240
Billion.
. Project Manager for BlackRock's front office trading and analytics
tool, SimCorp's Dimension - back office accounting tool and Financial
Data Warehouse while upgrading SunGard and other vendor provided
applications. Responsibilities included all phases of interrogation,
design definition, budget preparation and approvals as well staffing
through implementation. Ensured that a defined scope of work was
successfully agreed upon, developed detailed project plans, estimated
task durations, staffed and managed project teams, identified and
mitigated project risks, communicated project status from mid to
executive level management teams, identified, tracked, and resolved
project issues, as well as controlled project scope and budget in
excess of $ 120 Million.
. Created and restructured the Treasury Technology Support department
with recruiting and training, creating a technical team of 40
developers consisting of Main Frame, Distributed and Data Warehousing
technologists. Administrative teams were created, consisting of
business analysts, technical analysts, project managers and financial
analysts all to deliver projects and day to day production support.
Managed the day to day QA function to ensure projects and enhancements
were tested prior to end product implementation avoiding negative
customer impact.
