fixed price for just 20% of the retail price. The concept is to convert
first class commercial travelers to private jet and leverage the under-
utilized aircraft pool in the US.
CEO & Founder
Built with own resources the business from scratch. Focused on business
model and value proposition while outsourcing Marketing/PR and web
development.
. Outsourced the front-end and back-office design to low cost developers
in Romania for a successful launch after just 8 months.
. Designed a fully automated back-office including flight and customer
account management, flight profitability and reporting capability,
invoicing as well as SEO/content management. The monthly running cost
is not exceeding $400 with still a 24/7 call center capability.
. Secured DOT blessing in a very regulated industry.
. Generated 15K visits, 100+ accounts and $20K revenue in less than 4

VP Finance Global Operations
Promoted at the global level to roll-out globally, the successful
improvements made in the European operations. Main focus has been to
set up a stand-alone finance organization to support '06/'07 growth,
understand the profitability of the back-office, build controllership
processes and liaise with risk and finance central teams.
. Implemented the 1st global operations on-line reporting tool, which
allowed to build the first P&L for an organization that grew revenue
from $1Bn to $4Bn in 4 years. The tool was such a success that GE
Capital Asia decided to roll-it out across all its business units.
. Drove global operations productivity thanks to new key metrics
reporting focused on origination, customer service and collection
processes. Improved some key ratios by 50%.
. Generated $120MM annualized savings through in and off-shore
consolidation.
. Improved controllership by centralizing internal audit relationship,
driving issue resolution within the allocated deadline and reported to
GE Capital Board and regulator (NYSB).
. Closed the entire sub-prime business and led global restructuring

Manufacturer of Diagnosis Imaging Systems. GE Healthcare Germany is one of
the most visible country as it is competing in the backyard of Siemens and
Philips.
GE Healthcare in Central Europe was a $300MM business with 600 employees.
CFO Central Europe
Joined GE Healthcare with the mandate to fix controllership and
simplify the legal entity structure. The region was struggling due to
margin leakage, flat sales, employee turn-over and poor processes and
controls.
. Rebuilt a complete finance team in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Promoted German finance manager as regional risk manager in charge of
customer financing, receivables and cash. Role ended up being
implemented in every GE Healthcare region.
. Reinstalled controllership in all 3 countries with 100% accounts
reconciled. Revamped closing process to reduce closing cycle by 1
week. Fixed with KPMG a $400MM tax issue by recapitalizing the
business and improving statutory results by 57% thanks to tight cash
management, margin increase of 15% and volume growth of 20%.
. Helped grow market share by 30% by working with sales and GE Financial
Services.
. Closed Frankfurt office to consolidate teams resulting in 50 lay-offs,
sub-leased office for $800K and merged/co-located ultrasound business
reducing finance team by 4 heads.
