Responsible for the global treasury infrastructure and capital markets
products of PayPal. This includes cash management, balance sheet
management, treasury bank relationships, financing, capital planning,
global liquidity and regulatory requirements, foreign exchange, deposit
and investment products.
. Managed all aspects of moving $500 million daily, in a virtual, global,
real time marketplace, transacting in 60 currencies, 190 countries, and
through four regulated entities.
. Simultaneously managed working capital, regulatory capital, VAT ratios,
intercompany settlements, liquidity, currency and counterparty exposure,
and on and off balance sheet activities, with the goal of maximizing
revenues, minimizing expenses, reducing risk, and meeting all global

. Managed all aspects of this business. This included regulatory
reporting, financials, budgeting, prospectus generation and year end

Responsible for the Treasury Department for the largest clearing firm in
the country, clearing for over 650 firms, and accounting for over 10% of
the New York Stock Exchange volume. Overhauled Treasury process
resulting in over $10 million in annual savings. Received both Super
Achiever and Marie Pardal awards.
< Investments: Directed the investment of a $2 billion portfolio, which
represents customer funds waiting to be invested in the stock market.
< Settlements: Performed the intra-day financing and settlements of all
firm activity. This includes settling over 500 syndicates per year as
well as securing and tracking all debit caps and exchange settlements
both domestically and internationally.
< Cash Management: Oversight of the 800,000 + monthly banking transactions
which represent up to $40 million per minute through 300 bank accounts in
over 200 banks. Managed both the bank relations and bank compensation of
this banking network, which includes producing bank report cards.
< Financing: Managed the financing of firm and customer activity. This
includes managing a $2 billion committed facility as well as billions of
dollars in credit lines and collateral. Analyzed and managed interest
rate and currency risk.
< New Product Development: Developed all cash management related customer
products.
< Telecommunications: Implemented and managed the daily activity of
S.W.I.F.T. This enabled Pershing to communicate with over 7,000
institutions worldwide in standard protocols for clearing, banking and
financing activities.

brokerage subsidiary of Fidelity Investments. In addition to managing

activity during a twelve-month period.
< Doubled credit lines while changing borrowing profile from secured to
