Ocean Counties along with 6 major food banks in the state of New

. Established annual roundtable discussions with Housing Authority
Executive Directors, which included issues related to federal
housing program budget cuts.
. Initiated press conference/roundtable discussion with New Jersey
clergy to discuss impact of budget cuts in the area of food, health
care, family and education programs.
. Participated in Read Across America, Joseph M. Ferraina Early
Childhood Learning Center.
. Designed a very successful Get Out The Vote Operation consisting of
100 workers ranging from phone banks, door to door canvassing and
poll challengers. All work was performed after normal working hours,
on weekends and scheduled time off.
. Advanced and staffed Congressman Pallone at various events.
. Attended events on the behalf on Congressman Pallone.
. Representation of Congressman at various speaking engagements.
. Received incoming mail and telephone calls from constituents
experiencing various problems with federal, state and local
agencies. Intake of casework in the excess of 10 to 20 cases per

involving 100 youth residing within various Housing Authority
complexes.

baseball and Pop Warner football.
. Coached district Babe Ruth all-star team.
. Designed little league baseball facility in one of the Authorities
vacant lots, Woodrow Wilson Homes.
. Instrumental in designing community facility, Seaview Manor Homes,
where youth participated in after school program and various youth
activities in 1994.
. Operations Manager for youth organization, "The F.I.S.T." (The
Future Is Starting Today) from 1994-1996. Handled the daily
business operations of the organization.
. Received two NAHRO awards (National Association of Housing and
Redevelopment Officials) for "Camp Respect Yourself" 1995 and "The
F.I.S.T." (The Future Is Starting Today) 1996. Was also nominated
for the excellence award for both programs.
. Received two Mardi Gras Awards for outstanding participation, best
float and costume in the Long Branch Parade 1994 and 1995.
