used by client’s drilling rigs during operations and provided on real time basis. This encompassed rigs
operating in Vietnam, Malaysia, Trinidad, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia and Brazil with shore base support in
Singapore, Vung Tau (Vietnam), Labuan (Malaysia), Trinidad, Venezuela, Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Brazil.

As President and CEO assisted small companies in domestic investment banking, asset maximization,
strategic and turnaround planning and international marketing in preparation for the next horizon,

interrelated companies. Prepared a comprehensive business plan for technological company awarded a
NASA contract and a computer software sales company.
• Co directed and co managed the evaluation, negotiation, and due diligence of acquisition candidates
in France (3), Italy (1), United States (1), Colombia (1), Australia (1), and Chile (1) with combined
sales exceeding $750MM and assets over $640MM.
• Authored and coordinated the acquisition of an international agricultural chemical manufacturer with
two plants and 300 employees.
Cuproquim Corporation (Mexico City/Houston) August 1989 – March 1992
As Vice President and CFO was responsible for all aspects of accounting, banking and cash management,
administrative, reporting and operations of the production facility, sales affiliated and closely related biological
insecticide entity. Subsequently, named Chairman of the Latin American business team expanding
responsibilities to include two agricultural chemical manufacturing plants and 40 warehouses located
throughout Mexico.
• Designed and implemented a restructuring of the Mexican plant (Cuproquim de Mexico S.A. de C.V.)
reducing variable production costs 22% and fixed costs 13%.
• Directed the realignment of the sales subsidiary (Cuproquim Agro S.A. de C.V.) resulting in a
doubling of the sales in two straight years.
• Authored and executed a computerized accounting system connecting two Mexican plants and
eighteen sales offices and warehouses to corporate offices in Houston.
• Refined and accelerated a sales and marketing plan for commercialization of the Latin markets
including the coordination of the research and introduction of 16 new products in one year and 9 in
the following year

a golf course, starting an international sportswear line, helicopter repair and oil & gas exploration. Developed
5 year plans and annual budgets in conjunction with the management.
• Negotiated and managed the acquisition and production of clothing lines in Korea, Hong Kong,
Bangkok and Taiwan, including “Cheap Charlie’s Sole Suckers”.
Allied Bank Southwest Freeway (Houston) July 1982 – March 1983
As President and CEO directed all aspects of the operation. Managed its acquisition by Allied Bancshares.
Subsequently, planned and implemented return to profitability by expanding loan and deposit base by 32%
while reducing operating costs over 45%.
• Developed and implemented marketing program for Southwest sector of Houston to expand
customer base.
Allied Bank of Texas (Houston) October 1980 – July 1982
In role of Vice President was responsible for developing and administered a portfolio of loans and deposits
built from the ground up. Member of commercial loan committee. Consistently maintained top position in
marketing, new business closed and portfolio growth. Coordinated marketing and over lines with East Texas
affiliates and South Louisiana correspondent banks. Provided assistance on loans to supply boat, rental tool
and drilling rig companies.
• Within 18 months, the loan portfolio exceeded $185 million and deposits $65 million.
First International Bank (Houston) September 1979 – October 1980
As Assistant Vice President managed $28MM loan portfolio in small business section. Handle the problem
loans while developing new small business opportunities. Member of small business loan committee.
Texas Commerce Bank (Houston) May 1973 – September 1979
As Banking Officer in the National Division developed and administered loans/services to Fortune 1000
companies in the Northeastern United States. Directed the expansion of bank relationships seeking a
presence in Southwestern United States. Marketed lockbox, remote disbursement as well the related
reporting requirements to companies with growing customers bases in Southwest
As Financial Analyst evaluated asset utilization and returns and financial accounting systems of 13 bank
acquisitions. Coordinated the conversion of these banks to Texas Commerce Bancshares Financial and
