Simulator Technician II – CAE USA CLS Full motion trainer 2F199 C130J CAE
Factory schools and training for Device. Flight Safety Factory schools on
Vital 9 Visual system.
Three Years - Award winning Avionics Technician
Supervised 50 military and eight civilian employees. Personally repaired
over 100 APG-71 RADAR systems in support of 18 F14D fighter aircraft.
Including Heads UP displays, Radar Master Oscillators, Signal Processors,
Electro/Mechanical hydraulic Antenna.
Debugged ATE software. Worked closely with engineers completed KU Band
High Voltage Power supply engineering investigation 2 months ahead of
schedule.
Personally redesigned and fabricated testing fixtures saving over
$250,000 in upgrade costs.
One year - Supervised five technicians on five ATE Stations.
Trained technicians in troubleshooting and repair of E-2C APS-145 Radar
system,

maintenance of 300 ALQ-99 Transmitter/Universal Exciter pool assets

maintenance of EA-6B Prowler avionics systems using AN/USM-467 Radar
Communication test stations (RADCOM).
Personally troubleshot and repaired multiple avionics systems, signal
analyzers,
arbitrary function generators, RF interface units, and complex
electro/mechanical aviation related assemblies including auto pilot,
sensors, actuators, servo, synchros, and Radar and test stations.
Collateral duties included Quality assurance for shops 65A RADCOM, 64D
infrared, 62F
inertial navigation (IMUTS), and 60A Corrosion control, Fitness Coordinator
and Financial Specialist.
Four Years - Lead Phase Instructor, Instructor Evaluator for
operation, repair and maintenance of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) at MTU
3011 Marine
Corps Air station Miramar. Including troubleshooting and repair of RF Signal
Generators and associated equipment. QA Inspector. Organizational Skills
accounted for inventory and maintenance of 5.2 Million dollars of Equipment
and
Training inventory.
Training Plan coordinator completed Curriculum Development
course and course review of seven Courses of instruction.
One Year - Led crew of 10 Avionics Technicians as Leading Petty
Officer in maintenance and support of Seven HH60-H and SH60-F Seahawk
Helicopters. Laser Safety supervisor in firing and maintenance of Class IV
Laser system.
Coordinated 80 technicians from nine maintenance shops during SH60
helicopter Phase Maintenance.
Two Years - Service Manager: Answered Technical Questions regarding
sales, service and repair of Fire Rescue Equipment within the United States
and
Canada. I assisted customer with best resource to take care of their
needs including talk them through the repair over phone or email.
Research and Development: assist in new ideas including fabrication,
hydraulics, tuning small high performance engines, building, testing,
adaptation of
software and marketing ideas.
Quality Assurance: Completed final checks for international orders.
Test quality of all our product lines in an operating environment.
Including Rescue Saws, Bullet chain, diamond concrete chain and diamond
bladed Rescue saws.
Head Mechanic: Perform repairs to the product line, follow through
with paperwork working with office staff and shipping from induction until
shipping to the customer.
Train others in our repair techniques and maintenance procedures.
Performed assembly for Multi-cut Ventilation Rescue Saw Line.
I assured assembly, troubleshooting and process flow of all product lines and
kits.
Shop Forman: Provide first contact for small manufacture repair shop
personnel issues regarding Human Resources, Safety,
General operation of shop and manufacture assembly lines including job
delegation and performance.
Contact for ordering shop supplies and raw materials.
Maintain contact with vendors and constantly research vendors for
better materials at a competitive cost.
One Year - Served as Engineer for Shelter Valley Volunteer Fire
Department.
Operated and maintain fire-fighting apparatus up to Class B with
Tanker and Air Brake endorsement. American Heart instructor for BLS and CPR.
Strike
team Member in Cerritos and Matuquey fires. Have worked multiple Medical
and accident calls including mass casualties.
