Plant Operations Manager, Jacksonville, FL (2004-2009)
The primary function of the role included the responsibility for the
design, building and start up of a multi-million dollar production
department manufacturing building materials for the Alabama, Georgia and
Florida markets. The position included all aspects of safety activities,
quality bulletin specifications, RPM maintenance, and transport
commodities; develop marketing/sales strategy, new product development and
exceeding monetary capital objectives.
Plant Operations Manager, Southard, OK (2001-2004)
The position included a dual role managing a board line and the largest
packing operation in the company. An enormous amount of effort was
exhausted in refurbishing both manufacturing lines increasing KPI
efficiencies; grow market share and establishing a low cost manufacturing
base for both domestic and international customers.
Project Manager, Bridgeport, AL (1999-2001)
The job task at hand involved a liaison position between the plant and
Corporate Engineering building the first plant from the ground up in 35
years. The multi-million dollar construction project included working
closely with plant, corporate and a third party construction company.
Primary responsibilities included the design, construction and start up of
new facility. The project was highly recognized by CEO as the best start
up in the companies 100 year history.
Plant Production Manager, Dallas, TX (1995-1999)
The plant is a well established production facility servicing Texas,
Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Kansas and the Louisiana markets. The
production manager position included managing all aspects of employee
safety programs, facilitating quality functions, implementing company pilot
programs and daily manufacturing operations.
Prior to 1995, held a variety of positions within USG operations at Dallas,
Texas and southern California.
