projects while meeting established service dates within acceptable
financial budgets.
- Responsibility for planning and the design of subtransmission and
distribution systems including 3, 5 and 10 year substation
forecasting.
- Prepare contingency plans for emergency and planned repairs. Respond
to storm and electrical emergencies. Performed emergency Engineer-On-
Call duties. Supervise emergency crews during normal and emergency
situations.
- Responsible for inside and outside plant Reactive System. Capacitor
availability was increased from 40% to 90% saving millions of
dollars in system losses and interconnection purchase savings.
- Supervise and train union and management personnel.
