Work and Co-experience
Piezo Kinetics (PKI) Bellefonte,
PA 08/2009 - 05/2010
Senior Thesis, Materials Scientist Researcher: As a project leader
participating in research of effect of lead oxide vapor on the
strength of alumina. Where I have performing biaxial strength testing
and sound velocity measurements and also performing an X-ray
Diffraction (XRD) to identify phases present. Finally, performing
scanning electron microscope (SEM) to observe corroded specimens.
Achievement of this project the research won first place for Materials
Science and Engineering Award for Excellent in Undergraduate Research
2010 and it was published on October 31st, 2010 by International
Journal of Applied Ceramic Technology as scientific paper.
Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) Johnstown, PA
01/2007 - 05/2007
Class Project: Materials Scientist Researcher: Participate in research
and development of a design for a fuel cell heat exchanger and finding
new materials that operates a high temperatures that meet the
specification of the firm and also developed economic evaluation to
determine budgets. Achievement, the CTC was happy with our finding
and our presentation and the way we approach the problem. Finally the
project was a success.
Penn State Brandywine Media, PA
01/2004-12/2007
Computer Lab Aide: Started as work-study job working in the office
answering phones. Also worked as lab aide addressing problems with
printers and computer in all the labs on campus. Also helping student
with installing software and helping professor with PowerPoint
presentation using projector. Achievement I was hired as part-time
staff after my work-study period is over.
