I am Registered Nurse with over 15 years experience in acute

care. My career began as a CNA at Riverside Community Hospital,

shortly being promoted to a Registered Nurse after completing nursing

school. As a nursing professional, I work well with autonomy as well

as working with my peers. I have excellent communication skills, and

interact with all health care professionals on every level. I am

reliable, dependable and possess the ability to interact well with all

I currently work in Same Day Care Infusion Clinic/ PACU/Same

Day Surgery, but began my career on the medical/surgical floor. I have

also worked in an OB/GYN medical office as charge nurse for Sharp's

Healthcare, ER/Cardiac Rehab/Telemetry, Medical Offices, Telephone

Triage, and Pre-Op Clinics. I have worked as the Charge Nurse for

several facilities, and currently work as Relief-Charge at Mission

Hospital Laguna Beach, CA. I have supervisory experience, performed

nurse's evaluations, and trained nurses in IV skills, PICC lines, IV

therapy and educational programs as well as hospital staff in-

servicing of IV products, at home self-injection training, and medical

devices training.

I currently serve on as an IV Nurse/IV Therapy and Hospital

Consultant, Mission Hospital, providing the most recent Evidence Based

Studies to improve patient's quality of care.

I am a graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, and am

working towards my MSN in Nurse Leadership. Software experience is

MEDI-TEC, currently with Mission Hospital Laguna Beach, CA. I have

excellent computer skills, including MS Power Point, Excel, and

multiple computer software programs.

Employment History

Therapeutics Institute - Sommerset, NJ. (2008 to present) Per Diem

Clinical Educational Specialist: Travel to multiple sites within the

US educating and training nurses on IV products and medical devices.

Ensures nurses are clinically competent with new products. Educate

staff to be knowledgeable in all aspects of IV care. Evaluates nurse's

techniques and train them in the areas that are in need of

improvement. Also train in-home self injection therapy. I also train

nurses in seminars as well as one-to-one training.

Mission Hospital - Laguna Beach, (2001 to present) Relief Charge - Part

Time

Same Day Infusion Clinic/Surgery: Infusions: Chemo, Iron, Blood

Products, Antibiotics- Wound care - outpatient basis, therapeutic

phlebotomies, Pre and Post-op care, PACU, bone marrow biopsies, blood

transfusions, EKG's, and serve as Relief Charge Nurse. Responsible

for staffing census reports, acuity reports, productivity reports. I

have also performed chemotherapy, inserted PICC lines, and I have

excellent IV skills.

Saddleback Hospital - Laguna Hills, CA (2001)

Same Day Surgery: Pre and Post Op care, PACU, cath lab, per diem

position.

Penrose Community Hospital, Colorado Springs, CO (1999 to 2001)

Same Day Surgery and Pre Op Clinic: Education of patients regarding

upcoming surgeries, also, other tasks included pre and post op care, bone

marrow biopsies, and worked in PRE OP Clinic the majority of my time

while at this hospital. Daily census was 50-60 clients a day.

Sharps Medical Center, Chula Vista, CA (1997-2000)

upcoming surgeries, also, other tasks included pre and post op care, and

pre op clinic. Also worked, Infusion Clinic/OB/GYN medical offices as
