Dec. 2008 to Present: Spectra Technologies, LLC - East Camden, Arkansas

Supply Chain Manager

Supply Chain Manager for a LAP (Load, Assemble, and Pack) DOD contractor

company. Responsibilities include the day to day management of five

departments; Procurement, Materials/Inventory Control, Receiving,

Transportation and Shipping. Coordinate supplier schedules of supply with

production contract requirements. Monitor and maintain material inventories

for a sixty day supply of over 18MM parts that feed 13 different production

lines. Reduced direct commodity material costs by 6.5%. Implemented ERP

system to improve on the purchasing and tracking of materials. Maintained

and monitored direct material attrition rates for contract purchasing

forecast and maintaining the required inventories. Planned, scheduled, and

managed our movement of inert materials into a central warehouse of over

100,000 sq ft from 18 regional bunker locations while maintaining 27 other

bunker warehouse locations (per DOD and ATF requirements of explosive

materials). Recovered $750,000 of non compliant direct materials from

suppliers.

Jul 2007 - Dec 2008 PowerTech LLC - Project Manager at Georgia Pacific

Savannah River Mill in Rincon, Ga.

Project Manager for $43MM upgrade project in the Tissue converting

department. Performed Hazard Identification Risk Analysis to develop the

scope of work for the project. Managed the engineering team. Developed +/-

10% captial budget and funds request. Developed GA;s for the Project.

Developed project schedules. Due to the down turn in the economy the

project was indefinitely suspended.

After the completion of the 10 year project at IP Courtland, I was brought

into the central engineering offices and managed the engineering and

construction services for numerous mills in Texas and the Southeast.

Managed Principal and Project Engineers on 40 different capital projects

for 13 different Pulp and Paper Manufacturing clients including SCA Tissue

(Barton, Al, Glen Falls, NY) MeadWestVaco,(Covington, VA, Charleston SC,

Cottonton, AL, Silsbee, TX, Evadale TX), Smurfit Stone (Florence, AL),

Rock Tenn (Formerly Gulf States Demopolis, AL).

Created a library of engineering and design standards (CAD files) which

increased company profits by reducing design time for each job. Drafted the

engineering standards (methods and practices) for Machine Guarding Design

for the department. Designed, created, and authored the Winder Safety

Manual for Machine Guarding. Manage the engineering staff on a day to day

basis for tasks and responsibilities and would travel to mill-sites to

manage the construction services and subcontractors. Conducted weekly

safety meetings. Performed engineering studies for clients to determine if

proposed projects would meet corporate R.O.I. criteria. Oversaw the staff

of project managers to meet their schedules and increased company profits

by insuring under budget completions on 40 projects during the past 13

years.

Site/Project Manager at International Paper Co. Courtland, Alabama.

Manager Multi $MM capital projects at this mill while supervising a staff

of engineers and project managers on other in-house jobs. Performed budget

estimates and wrote capital funds requests for client. Developed GA's for

projects. Responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules for

all projects. Selected, secured and managed sub-contractors for fabrication

and installations. Developed and Coordinated installation schedules with

client's manufacturing schedules to insure maximum profits due to time

constraint variations on scheduled and unscheduled Paper Machine outages.

Managed construction installations during client outages over 480 outages

for 5 different Paper Machines and Converting areas of the mill.

Average Project completion costs were 12% under budget due to aggressive

measures of standardizing designs, materials fabrication practices,

contract negotiations and coordination of scheduling installations to

maximize efficiency.

Created project budgets for engineering and construction aspects of awarded

jobs.

Established this corporation for the development of the

"Pyrahnna Slabber", U.S. Patent #5,759,350. After the

prototype was designed and built I negotiated and

secured the sale of the patent rights on the process

and equipment to Valmet, Inc., a world leader in paper

machinery manufacturing.

Compliancy for Winders in Atlanta, GA.

Meadwestvaco Pinch Point Team - 2005-2006 - As a consultant provided

training to Meadwestvaco's corporate safety managers, Project

engineers, and paper machine superintendents on OSHA and ANSI

compliancy for Winder and Roll Wrap Line safety. Provided on site

safety audit consultation for OSHA Compliancy at each of their mill

facilities on 24 winders.

Client Employee Training - Presented client employee training for each

Paper Mill client on projects, project management, design and

understanding OSHA C.F.R. and ANSI Standards at the commencement of

each job.
