Involved in 24/7 production support..
CICS/JCL/COBOL/DB2 were the key technical components.

Second Project (5 months in US on H1B in Infosys) -
A Re-engineering project to build the Administrative system of the
client.
Extensive use of CICS for most of the functionalities.
Batch processing also involves CICS transactions triggered through
bulk driver.
Developing core functionalities of the system.
Is involved in extensive code reviews and Integration testing of
this system.
A little bit of batch part is also involved using JCLs.
Working a lot with MQs, VSAMs, flat files and GDGs.
Database involves both DB2 as well as IDMS.
Very confident with the IDMS database. Good grip on DB2.
Role - Module Lead and/or Developer
First project (1 yr 10 months - last 5 months in US on H1B)
A maintenance project to maintain and enhance the Administrative
system of the client.
Involved in complete SDLC starting from High level design to
delivery.
Got a understanding of the whole life cycle of a application
development process.
Involved lot of batch processing using JCLs and good amount of CICS.
