Jeremy L. Ashworth
objective
To work for a company that instills values and ethics. A company that will
use me to my fullest potential and help me to continually become greater.
Functional summary
I have a vast number of skills, a jack of all trades so to
speak. Most of my experience comes from retail, and
management of retail. So I am really good at sales, however
not in forcing sales. I like the second mile approach. This
is where you go the extra step and find out what the customer
really needs, and give them what they overall truly want, not
something they buy on impulse and regret. I love doing
customer service! I have a lot of experience in Managerial
skills( I.e. paperwork, time cards, corrective reviewing,
scheduling, etc.) I also consider myself a leader, I like to
take charge of situations but I also have no problem assisting
when someone else is in charge, or accepting a great idea from
someone who is helping me. I also have a lot of experience in
receiving and shipping. I have knowledge in computers, I build
and repair them as a hobby. To keep this short I will not go
any further but would love to discuss with you some of my
other experiences in our interview.

Salary 36,000/yr
. Started as full-time sales associate and worked up to
current title of manager over men's/women's shoes
handbags and accessories.
. As associate I was on the track of pacesetter(200,000 in
sales and credit opening ratio of 2apps per 40 hours
worked in a year)
I'm wanting to leave because they relocated me to Chapel
Hill, nc and my wife just got a promotion here in town and
can't relocate. So I am currently commuting and it is
putting a stress on our finances and vehicles.
Nov 08-Aug 09 Kitchen Collection Wilmington, NC/Sevierville,
TN
Store Manager
Salary 27,600/yr
* Turned a temporary Trial location into a permanent store
that is currently in the top 10 stores in the company for
profitability.
* Was asked to move to ctennesse location to take over a
problem store that was struggling with a theft issue and
wasteful spending. after taking over store in April of
2009 the store went from a $2300 loss to in August a $1800
profit.
I left this company because of some ethics issues that were
being shown by my regional. I tried to express my concern and
it has just caused retaliation. So unfortunately I left a
company that I honestly loved working for, so that I can keep
my integrity and morals about me, and show the company that I
do not approve of the way my regional was doing things. I
would appreciate if you did not call this place of employment
as for my superior might say false things for retaliation,
because HR and LP are looking into my complaints and taking
them seriously now that I left.
June 06-Nov 08 Various Productions Wilmington, NC
Production Assistant/2nd Asst. Director of background
Hourly average 17/hr
* Worked on various movie sets, working directly with the
director, cast, and extras.
* To much to tell about for a resume but would love to tell
stories of the experience.
I actually went to part time before leaving just working on
sets when someone else was sick for the last year of it. It
was a very fun but demanding job long hours and no set
schedule. It was hard on my wife and I relationship. It was
also hard on our ministry to the church. So I left to go back
to retail.
June 01-June 06 Williamson-Dickie Sevierville,TN/Orlando FL
Store Manager
Salary-26,500/yr
* Help write the policy and procedure manual that is still
being used currently
* Trained managers and staffs of new outlet stores that were
opening up.
* Part of the team that had top store profit wise 2 years in
a row
* Told by President of Company that I was a great asset to
the company.
Started out as a pt cashier back in High school and worked my
way up to manager very quickly. I left the company because I
was young and wanted to broaden my horizons more. I was
offered the opportunity to work in film and jumped at the
chance. I loved working for this company though and I am
still in contact with some of the managers and districts
today.
