Managed major projects related to the installation, conversion, upgrade and

overhaul of integral gas engines and compressors used in the gas pipeline

transmission. I was responsible for the administration of contract

finalization, planning, scheduling, engineering, manufacturing, assembly,

site testing and shipping.

. Project lead for all El Paso Natural Gas GMW and GMV gas engines and

compressors overhauls and integration of turbo-chargers for the

Monument, New Mexico natural gas transmission station. Delivered

project worth 3.8MM in total revenue well above expected profit

margin.

. Project lead for the conversion of clean-burn emissions of two (2) GMV

gas engines for the Southern Union natural gas transmission station at

Jal, New Mexico. Project revenue 1MM.

Managed and coordinated projects related to the repair, refurbishment,

upgrades and modifications of sub-sea drilling control systems from

inception through completion with accountability for cost management,

quality and on-time deliveries. Served customers in the Gulf of Mexico,

North America, Brazil and Africa regions.

product warranty issues. I was assigned later to manage the repair

center.

. Managed all repairs and refurbishments for Transocean Deepwater

Horizon, Nautilus and Enterprise drilling control systems equipment.

. Managed the refurbishment of British Petroleum (BP) - Pompano work

over system.

. Managed the various repairs and refurbishment of drilling control

systems for Pride, Global Santa Fe, Diamond Offshore and Saipem.

Operations Manager - Managed the manufacturing, purchasing and inventory

control functions of this fast-paced, high volume personal computer and

electronic enclosure assembly operations, working in a JIT and ISO 9000

environment.

1992 - 1997

Production Manager - Directed up to 60 salaried and hourly employees and

managed over 100,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing floor space and warehousing

operating in a make-to-order manufacturing environment. Responsibilities

with this manufacturer of consumer products included production,

scheduling, inventory control, manufacturing, quality, maintenance and

safety.

From 1981 to 1991 worked in manufacturing and industrial engineering

capacities at various levels of responsibilities with the following

employers: Compaq Computer Corporation, Igloo Products Corporation,

Geosource, Inc. (former subsidiary of Halliburton) and General Dynamics

Corporation (US Navy submarine construction).
