Contributed to building long-term success for the Kellogg Co., with a
strategic focus on managing a raw ingredient portfolio of over 1100
individual ingredients with 250 suppliers. Spend of portfolio items was
$190 million. Developed and implemented an approach for out-sourcing to a
co-manufacturing company, involving over 300 Kellogg-contracted ingredients
with a negotiated savings in excess of $1 million. Led several successful
strategic sourcing events; including a global sourcing team in the flavor
category resulting in a savings of over $6.5 million and alignment of
global supplier relationship.
