JAN 2002 - OCT 2005 EXXONMOBIL ENGINEER (contract)

Performed Regulatory Compliance and Operations Integrity Monitoring and

Auditing:

Developed procedures for Environmental Regulatory Policy compliance,

Operations Integrity monitoring, and recognition awards programs.

Conducted regular field reviews and inspection of facilities to ensure

compliance in the application of Operations Integrity(OI) framework and

deployed corrective actions to address deficiencies noted in field

observations.

Identified Projects areas that require Loss Prevention support and liaise

with the Project Engineers to provide adequate support and documentation.

Interfaced with the loss prevention(LP) unit to conduct taproot

investigation of all major environmental incidents and tracked all accident

and near miss- report.

Developed and coordinated yearly Regulatory and Operations Integrity

Compliance Assessment.

Advised and monitored the implementation of the companies' safety, health

and environmental procedures, policies and guidelines as well as the state

laws and regulations.

Conducted Personnel and Third Party Training:

In collaboration with the HR and the IT group, developed a training module

and conducted safety, health and environmental(SHE) awareness

training,Operations Integrity (OI) expectations training for System Owners

and System Administrators, Job Safety Analysis and Risk Assessment and

Occupational Hazard Identification Training, thereafter prepared assessment

reports.

Identified appropriate training program for field personnel and office

staff which included the development and implementation of programs and

manuals.

Provided an in-house training of OIMS-Operations Integrity Management

System auditing to Internal audit team.

Coordinated Emergency Preparedness and Response Planning.

Participate actively in customizing ExxonMobil global emergency response

plan to each specific area of operation (treatments plant, tank farms,

laboratory, onshore, offshore/deepwater).

As the Subject Matter Expert for Operations Integrity Management System

(OIMS-10-2)"Emergency Preparedness and Response", coordinated simulations,

drills, oil spills prevention countermeasure plans (SPCC) and Emergency

response meetings/programs with representatives of the federal and state

government Regulatory bodies as examiners.

Worked as a team member to develop, implement and monitor Operation

Integrity Management System (OIMS) Database.

Coordinated quarterly OIMS assessment and these regular audits drastically

improve safety, health and environment awareness .

Reviewed previous regulatory compliance performance, by utilizing hitch

report, awareness and training to highlight deficiencies and proposed

management of change program.

Oversaw the flow of SHE information as the subject matter expert(SME)

between the Operations Integrity Management System, Loss Prevention (LP)

unit and other field locations (treatments plant, tank farms, laboratory,

Conducted field work, including sampling, borehole drilling, well

installation, remedial pilot tests, construction oversight, and remedial

system operation and maintenance.

Monitored control panels and adjusts valves to regulate flow of sewage.

Working Knowledge of API, ANSI, ASTM, ASME standards, OSHA 30 hour general

industry training and 40 hour HAZWOPER Training.

Knowledge of US Environmental Protection Agency laws and regulations which

includes National Pollutant Discharge Elimination system (NPDES), Spill

Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, and Stormwater

Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP).

Working knowledge of Environmental Management System (EMS) such as

ISO140001 for auditing Environmental Compliance or Operations Excellence

ACCOMPLISHMENT

In 2002, with the support of the IT group, developed the first Regulatory

Compliance Monitoring, Verification and Measurement database, which was

deployed in all Exxonmobil Nigeria units, its helped identify specific

status of a permit and regulatory obligations of each units or department.

In 2003, initiated the appointment of safety contact personnel which where

known as "SHE ambassadors" in each departments, this considerably increase

the awareness of Safety and Environmental Regulations in the company and

reduced incident as shown by ExxonMobil internal statistics.

Published the first ExxonMobil Lagos, Safety Health and Environmental

Newsletter known as "The OIMS Newsletter" in 2004.

Awarded an outstanding Performance, Contribution and Services to Safety,

Health and Environment by ExxonMobil Management in 2005.
