EXPERIENCE: Hypersonic Technologies, Fort Wayne, IN: August 2009 - Office

and Human Resources Administrator, Customer Service, meeting

coordinator, newsletter support, Sales team support, writer of

the weekly Time Management System reports, and procure non-

capital goods.

When the company moved from one office

location to another, I coordinated the move which included

comparative study of phone systems and internet providers to

achieve maximum capabilities at the most reasonable rate. I

accomplished the project on time and within budget.

Conducted a comparative study of insurance

benefit plans to achieve an optimum benefit plan with most

participant options and worked closely with the company's

insurance provider to add benefits to our insurance plan. This

required meeting with the insurance representatives and going

over our already-existing insurance plan to see how we could

optimize our options.

I have experience using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and

Microsoft Outlook.

Student Life Office Assistant: January 2009-

May 2009. I was the editor of the college campus weekly

bulletin which included school news, announcements and reader

contributions. Working in the Student Life Office I carried

out a variety of other support activities such as document

filing, answering phone calls, database maintenance, mass

mailings and replying to e-mail inquiries.

Resident Assistant: August 2008 - May 2009.

As a Resident Assistant at college I fostered responsible

behavior, helped individuals build personal character and

enforced the rules of the college. Also, I mentored my peers,

organized dormitory floor activities, and encouraged

participation in college and dorm events.

College Ambassador: January 2006 - May 2008. Hosted visitors

to Christendom College, lead campus tours, answered questions

concerning the college, and helped visitors get a sense of the

academics and day-to-day life at the college. I reported to

the staff in the Admissions Office, who coordinated students as

college ambassadors to the visitors.

Front Royal, Virginia Public Schools: Student

Teaching: September 2008 - December 2008. I observed and

taught in the Front Royal Public Grade School and in two

Virginia area private schools. This required the planning and

presentation of the given lessons. I observed appropriate

teaching techniques and methods and learned how to implement

these techniques and methods into the lessons that I taught.

L.E. Smith Company: Summer of 2008 - I was an

intern Administrative Assistant with a focus on marketing

support activities, particularly the company's sales

newsletter, and mailings to the contractor network. I did

product research and entered my findings into Excel

spreadsheets.

Dairy Queen: Summer of 2007 - Worked counter

sales at Dairy Queen, with a focus on fast, friendly, courteous

customer service. Responsibilities also included a thorough

knowledge of menu options, and sanitary guest area maintenance.

I was also made aware of potential food allergies such as

peanuts, in addition to the calories in a given ice cream

treat.

Food Service Work Study: I paid my way through college. For two

years I worked in food service, helping with the preparation of

and serving of food and provided excellent customer service a

friendly face and in the cafeteria. I worked beside the cooks

and received great hands-on lessons in the preparation of and

serving of food.

EXTRACURRICULAR

ACTIVITIES:

Volunteer for local radio station November, 2010.

Youth Group Leader in Fort Wayne.

Study abroad semester in Rome, Italy, 2007. During this

semester I was able to travel to different European countries,

learn the Italian language, learn the history of the Christian

culture, and study art, architecture, and philosophy.

Student Activities Council Social Affairs - I was responsible for

the planning and preparation of student events. In this

position I worked with my fellow students to plan and set up

for events. I also encouraged participation in the events.

School Photographer - I took pictures for the campus newspaper and

my camera was always with me, ready to capture daily campus

life and formal events. I also wrote articles to support the

events that I took pictures for.

Ballroom Dance Coordinator - I organized weekly ballroom dance

practices for students to learn new steps for ballroom dancing.
