Wrote Specifications to replace the 30 to 50 year old roofs on over 140
existing facilities with state of the art "Modified Bitumen" roofing. The
existing Built-up and Coal Tar Pitch roofing products were over 15 years
past their Warranty period of 20 years.
Inspected the work of roofing contractors and MARTA employees in the repair
and replacement of the roofs. Signed off and accepted the completed work
after "flood testing" was complete.
Prepared Construction Documents for both new construction and renovation of
existing facilities to meet the changing requirements of transit
operations.
Wrote reports interpreting Transit Codes coordinating their Impact on
Building and Life Safety Codes.
Developed conceptual designs for new MARTA projects.
Reviewed and commented on plans by outside consultants for MARTA projects.

Managed two High School projects totaling more than $25,000,000 over a
three year period. Coordinated the Architectural Design with all
disciplines and owner interface. This included the construction of a new
Tournament Gymnasium at Riverwood High School and a new Cafeteria and
Kitchen at North Springs High School. All work had to be coordinated with
the owner to allow the schools to be completely functional throughout the 3
year construction schedules.
Rewrote the Education Specification for Fulton County High Schools.
Prepared a Master Plan for the Development of two new building and campus
circulation for North Metro Technical College in Acworth Georgia.
Programmed the first building, the "Allied Health" building, for North
Metro Technical College.
Programmed the Renovation of the old Monroe Area Comprehensive High School
to become the new Athens Technical College and Walton Career Academy.

As Construction Manager I was the Support for the Transportation Security
Administration to install the Passenger Screening and Carry On Baggage
Screening Equipment at the Little Rock National Airport.
Duties included interfacing with the airport authorities, agencies and
stakeholders as necessary to address technical and scheduling issues and
resolutions. This required the use of state of the art computer networks,
software and coordination on the Internet with the Lockheed Martin
Intranet, TeamSASR.Com the Transportation Security Administration and the
Department of Transportation.

Budget $50,000,000 with over $70,000,000 of associated work to be
coordinated and an additional $60,000,000 for asbestos abatement.
As Project Manager and Project Architect coordinated the production of
Construction Documents by five Puerto Rican Architectural firms to mesh
with the new seismic design necessary to up-grade the existing substandard
1968 850,000 square foot medical facility to the seismic acceleration in
the current codes.
Using the VA Guide Specification prepared a coordinated, consolidated
Seismic Corrections Specification to replace the Specifications prepared by
the Puerto Rican Architects for their individual Projects.
Prepared Phasing and Scheduling Documents including CPM Schedules, for
Interior Renovation of the 850,000 square foot existing hospital building
and a new $30,000,000 Hospital Ward Building("Bed-Building")
Managed the Asbestos Abatement contract using the San Juan consulting firm
of Samuel Quinones and Associates.

Fort Benning Family Housing Study, Fort Benning Army Camp, Columbus,

Led a team of four to six Architects, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers
and Technicians in sampling and reporting on the conditions and
recommending remedial action to repair and restore the 2000 family housing
units on Camp.
Included approximately 200 homes on the National Registry of Historic
Places.
