Skills and I n te rests
I have had a variety of jobs that have allowed me to use several different skills. I have used
several different computer programs and I am proficient in using computers in general. I
have also had the opportunity to use cash registers and credit card t ransactions at the
M ar r iot and at Gateway Park. All of these jobs required me to deal with a diverse group of
people to ensure customer satisfaction. Working as a counselor and at a fun park, allowed
me to work with kids and to make their experiences as fun and safe. Being a long term
employee at several jobs, allowed me to assume a leadership role and to help new employees
i mprove their skills. Teamwork is also an essential part of any workplace and I have had
t he privilege of being part of several great teams.
A ll of my life I have been a huge sports proponent. I played football at Fairview High School
a ll four years and played club soccer up until my junior year of high school. Basketball is
another sport that I love and played it from a very young age until high school. Sports
teach you life lessons and how to overcome adversity. Golf has recently become the sport
t hat I play. I have played golf for 10 years. My other interests include history, mainly
ancient history, particularly, the Greeks and Romans. Those civilizations were the
foundation for our modern society. I enjoy working with and learning more about
technology and specifically, computers.
