(Hospira was result of 2004 spinoff of Abbott Laboratories
HPD division)
Responsible for directing marketing initiatives for new
product launches, re-launches and
existing products. Interaction with senior management to
brand manager level marketing
personnel. Developed communication strategy and plans for
entire business units and
individual brands. Produced and directed: concept
development, message platforms,
segmentation strategy, media planning, execution of all
tactics (sales aids, direct mail, journal
advertising, online, etc.), external advertising agency
selection and partnership development,
staff and budgetary responsibilities, internal creative
group management, sales training material
