June 2010 - June 2011: General Manager United Construction, Gillette, WY
General Manager running operations for a pipeline contractor engaged in
poly gathering systems (upstream) and steel pipeline and facilities
(midstream) primarily working with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation. Primary
duties consist of supervision of all personnel, planning and scheduling all
work, coordinating multiple crews in remote areas, soliciting new work,
estimating and budgeting new jobs and tracking project cost and progress.
Additional duties include overseeing the maintenance of all equipment,
operating the fabrication shop, interfacing with Client reps and hiring of
employees. In the last 12 months have revamped all construction procedures,
initiated a comprehensive cost and labor system and significantly
streamlined operations.
August 2007- June 2010: Senior Corporate Scheduler Zachry Holdings Inc, San

Senior Planner for the Power and Industrial division utilizing Primavera
P3.5 & P6 for the planning and scheduling of EPC Power and Petrochemical
facilities. Average project value 500MM+. Actively created and maintained
schedules for construction, startup and turnarounds in support of the
division. Senior Planner for The West County Energy Center consisting of
three 1350MW 3 on 1 units. Supported the activities of over 2200 direct
employees at peak.
Sept 2003-August 2007: Director of Construction/Owner-Southern Folger
Detention Equipment Company LLC, San Antonio, TX
This position, reporting to the President had full P & L responsibility for
the direction of the Southern Folger Detention Equipment Co. Construction
Division. Managed a staff of Project Managers, Engineers and
administrative personnel operating in San Antonio, and in 10-20 field
operation offices throughout the country (100-200 personnel). The
department is primarily engaged in the construction and commissioning of
detention equipment systems including automated doors, modular systems,
locks, hardware full secure interiors and security electronics (high
density I/O). Projects routinely consist of engineering, fabrication,
construction and commissioning associated with new installations as well as
facility modifications and expansions. Chief duties included strategic
planning, project negotiation, job staffing, billing and full P&L
management for the division. Primary Clients included private Owners,
government entities and General Contractors. Project Manager and lead
restorer of the cell line devices at Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary for the
National Park Service. Consultant on National Geographic Society's
"Alcatraz, Living Hell" for Michael Hoff Productions. Appeared in the
production.

June 97 - Sept 2003: Kenai Office Manager/Project Manager, Alaska Anvil,
Inc., Kenai, Alaska
Directly responsible for the origination and creation of
Capital/Maintenance Project design packages for Upstream, Midstream,
petrochemical, industrial and commercial facilities. Office also provided
commissioning services for the facilities. Packages include electrical,
control systems, mechanical/piping and civil/structural. Projects support
industry on the Kenai Peninsula (onshore), the Cook Inlet (offshore), and
the North Slope (Kuparuk). Clients included Marathon Oil Company, Conoco
Phillips (North Slope), Tesoro Petroleum (Kenai Refinery), Agrium, the City
of Soldotna and others.
Senior Project Manager for Marathon Oil Company Ninilchik Development
Project. Project consisted of four natural gas production facilities
including wellheads, Compressors/dehydration systems and all
normal/emergency utility systems. Provided all engineering, construction
support and personally commissioned the facilities. Project value: 18MM.
Solely created and managed the control systems electrical package for the
Marathon Oil Glacier drill rig and personally commissioned the facility.
Other responsibilities include estimating engineering/construction on a per
project basis, Client interface, manpower loading for the office,
electrical LV/HV testing and functional checkout. Specify engineered
equipment, generate Scopes of Work, and provide design assistance as
required. Perform all personnel administrative functions within the Kenai
office (multidiscipline engineering/construction consulting firm).
Dec 95 - June 97: Project Engineer/Superintendent, Raytheon Engineers and
Constructors, Inc., Charleston, South Carolina
380 million dollar direct hire project for the grass roots construction of
a Purified Telathallic Acid Production Plant and an Anaerobic Reactor for
Amoco Chemical. Responsible for doubling the capacity of an existing
230/34.5KV substation, and adding a new 34.5KV underground distribution
system. Responsible for the tie-in of new 5KV and 15KV switchgear to the
existing equipment. Directly responsible for the planning and completion
of work during four total existing plant shutdowns. All shutdowns were
completed on time, injury free, and with quality exceeding Client
expectations. Assembled all electrical turnover packages for startup and
Client acceptance. Responsible for estimating, specification and
purchasing of approx. 80% of all electrical field material used on the
project. Personally performed all switchgear and electrical equipment
testing and managed the electrical commissioning.
Feb 95 - Dec 95: Project Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer, Electrical
Superintendent, Raytheon Engineers and Constructors, Decatur, Alabama
Lead E/I Engineer for the direct hire construction of an Anaerobic
Wastewater Treatment Facility, and the renovation of two Paraxylene
Production Units for Amoco Chemical. Provided field design, estimating and
procurement support, and acted as Client liaison and turnaround
Superintendent during a 30-day shutdown. Manager for electrical and
instrumentation startup, and assisted in the development of the Rust Work
Packaging System. Project value: 780MM.
May 94 - Feb 95: Electrical Inspection Lead, Arctic Slope Inspection
Services, Valdez, Alaska.
Comprehensive National Electric Code/Alaska OSHA facilities inspection of
the Valdez Marine Terminal. Team leader for the inspections of loading
berths #4&5, the hydrocarbon vapor recovery compressor system, the
Operations Control Center and the power distribution system for the Trans
Alaska Pipeline System. Equipment inspected includes turbine generator
sets, compressors, computer (DCS) control equipment and marine systems.
Jan 91 - May 94: Electrical Construction/Project Engineer/Manager,
National Industrial Constructors, Inc., Iuka, Mississippi
900 million-dollar cost plus contract with Lockheed Missiles and Space Co.
for engineering and construction management at the NASA Advanced Solid
Rocket Motor Facility. Directly responsible for the simultaneous
completion of a double ended 230KV/13.8KV substation, two new process
facilities and the renovation of an abandoned Turbine Generator Building to
create a third process facility. All process facilities designed to
produce or handle ammonium perchlorate (solid rocket fuel). Designed and
implemented a complete set of standard electrical test forms based on ASRM
Specifications. Provided field design for a complete area lighting system
for all base roadways and testing areas. Responsible for field design
changes estimates and purchasing.
June 90 - Jan 91: Electrical Construction Engineer/Electrical

Engineer/Superintendent for the direct hire rebuild of #7, #8 Paper
Machines, #2, #3 Supercalendars, and a 5280 ft/min. Off Machine Coater.
Solved field problems associated with the replacement of obsolete process
electrical equipment (Relay Rooms) in an antiquated existing building.
During a 9-week shutdown, acted as night shift Electrical Superintendent
directing the activity of 45 union electricians in the rebuild of the Off
Machine Coater. Coordinated electrical installation with other crafts, and
completed 70% of schedule with 45% of the allocated manhours. Commissioning
lead for the equipment.
