. Oversaw construction projects including new construction of automated

facilities and multimillion dollar facility repairs of existing

buildings. Led and mentored both internal and external project teams to

keep construction and expansion projects on time and within strict budget

constraints. Proactively communicated work order changes to ensure

project goals were achieved.

. Adapted the facility design scenarios within limited square footage

constraints to meet peak holiday delivery demands.

. Managed facilities training programs including fork lifts, tugs, conveyor

securing, lock out / tag out, PPE, package delivery truck driving, safe

work methods, etc.

. Lead process improvement teams for facilities maintenance and

construction.

. Oversaw the hiring, training, and direct management of 28 skilled

Engineers and maintenance mechanics. Performed annual performance

reviews and oversaw salary increases and stock allowance recommendations.

of safety and compliance, as well as training the operations personnel in

. Responsible for vendor contract compliance and costs for approximately

350 external vendors

. Successfully managed an annual facilities budget of $10 million. Also

managed additional special project budgets of $5 - $10 million per year.

. Planned and designed major facilities projects including facility

expansions, conveyor layout designs, a 1.3 million roof replacement, and

a 1.5 million mezzanine expansion for automated conveyor sort.

. Worked closely with other business functions such as Finance, Human

Resources, Operations, Security and Information Technologies to ensure

consistent and cohesive delivery of UPS corporate strategies.

. Provided monthly project, budget, planning, and financial reports to Sr.

Management and Corporate offices.

. Frequently #1 on National Balance Scorecard for District Facilities

Management. Served as Balance Scorecard mentor to my peers to raise

their scores within the Region.

of the facility and installation of the automation equipment.

. Boeing Field Gateway Relocation Project

Seattle, WA (2006)

Relocated the entire UPS gateway facility at the Boeing Field Airport to

the SEA/TAC airport while runway repairs were completed. Returned the

airfield operations to Boeing field two weeks later.

. Region Balanced Scorecard Coordinator
