Responsible for overseeing the ancillary service component of the drug

court program. Provide expert knowledge of the community and services to

citizens in general, facilitating access to services and monitoring

participant progress, completing weekly case notes, writing agreements,

following judicial directives, weekly report writing, evaluating new

resources, establishing new contacts, developing partnerships, being

innovative with traditional services, foresight to assess program and

participant needs, and support client needs.

Perform instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner

and in accordance with the mission, policies and procedures of the Maryland

Judiciary Court System. Assist participants in identifying various

resources, networks and support systems that contribute to their success

and recovery. Build and develop case plans individualized to participants

needs while incarcerated as well as reentry. Utilize extensive knowledge

to build rapport, develop trust, and open dialogue in the helping

relationship. Monitor fiscal and program grants according to the Maryland

consumers as needed to decrease the amounts of emergency petitions to

hospitals on the Eastern Shore. Work with local Law Enforcement and/or

and routine communication with detention center personnel, consumers,

family members, referral sources, service providers, and community

resources to facilitate service delivery.
