Currently, I am enrolled at the University of Southern Mississippi majoring in Psychology. I

chose this major simply because of my strong passion for the mind, to learn about and

understand why people behave the way that they do. My compassion for others has allowed me

to develop a desire to help people better themselves to the best of my ability.

EXPERIENCE

Receptionist, Courtesy Automotive Industries, Booneville, MS; 2008-2011

In the office of Courtesy Automotive I performed several tasks and learned a variety of skills

necessary to be successful in the career industry. I assisted customers who were there to pay bills,

statements, etc. I filled paper work as well as inserting information concerning vehicle

transactions into the system. I was responsible for making sure monthly statements were printed

off and mailed by the first of the month; and at the end of the year I assisted the Controller in

closing out any final records.

Cashier, Save-a-lot, Booneville, MS; 2006-2008

The tasks I performed at Save A Lot were similar to any others at a convenient grocery store. I

cashed out customers, as well as ensuring they found anything they needed with ease. I assisted

in stocking the shelves every week. I also made it a priority to make sure the customers were

treated with kindness and respect when they came into the store.
