Responsibilities:
• Spearheaded 2M to 4M successful renewable reactive energy projects like DVAR, Static VAR Compensator, Smart
Grid Interface manufacturing and installation for multiple utility and wind farm owners like Eurus Energy, ECI,
Suzlon-Australia, Mid-American Energy, Ameren Energy, RMT, WE Energies, Alliant Energy and First Solar Energy.
Organized customer kick-off meetings, Checked plans, drawings, quantities for accuracies, presented initial

• Worked on twenty four new 69KV, 138KV & 345KV transmission overhead lines including major 345KV projects like
Arrowhead-Weston, Paddock Lake and Gardner Park.
• Successfully worked on more than 100 emergency capital improvement project tickets like replacing accident wood or
metal poles, wood-pecker damaged Douglas FIR wood poles, burnt insulators due to lightning strikes, re-phasing of
bus or shield wire and corroded underground control cable or grounding.
• Ensured DSD (Design Summary Document) is completed in coordination with assigned project engineers.
• Organized kick-off meetings, assembled project teams consisting of consultants/contractors, supplemental workers
from contractors like Hooper Construction, WE Energies crew, ECI and ATC personnel from other functional areas to
plan/develop and/or implement transmission system capital improvement projects
• In charge of preparing project/budget estimates, schedules, capitol vs. expense advisory reports in order to get budget
approvals/clearances, approve contractor/vendor/supplemental worker invoices
• Supervise/track overhead transmission site construction work and crew hours
• Successfully implemented consignment electrical equipment inventory at Border States Electric facility
• Charge new equipment as well as retire old transmission equipment in accordance with FERC’s accounting system

• Worked on 40 new distribution line projects, 89 service and repair work projects assigned on south western block on 33
KV and 11 KV residential and business lines ranging from 50K to 2 million
• Developed schedules and executes electric distribution switching procedures during scheduled outages and emergency
operations. Coordinates switching operations with field supervisors, field crews, and other electrical contractors as
necessary. Manage substation crews and ensure priorities are resolved in a timely manner
