SOFTWARE DEVELOPER, MICROVAULT CORPORATION, Huntington
Beach, California.
December 1999 Responsibilities included: member of development
team which helped to develop and enhance the
to April 2001: company's main product: NetCourier. NetCourier is
a server-based Windows NT/UNIX secure e-mail delivery
system which allows users to send encrypted documents to
various e-mail clients using Java
1.2, HTML, XML, Oracle Internet Application Server, and
Oracle 8.1.6.
As a member of the development team, I was allowed to play
a vital role in developing NetCourier's XML data input to
Oracle Engine using Oracle's XML parser and later to
MicroVault's proprietary XML Parser. Milestones include:
. Design, development, and enhancement of NetCourier's
"envelope" data system to allow user's to "wrap" desired
HTML, PDF / binary data documents, e-mail delivery
information ("from", "to", "reply to" e-mail addresses,
customer/internal tracking information, etc.) using XML,
Oracle 8.1.5 / 8.1.6, and Enterprise Manager, SQLPLUS,
Internet Application Server, triggers, and PL/SQL stored
procedures. Development and delivery of the newest
version of NetCourier 3.0. This new version allowed for
the processing of "bulk" e-mails using pre-loaded
"templates" of which can be later referenced from input
XML instead of original PDF, Word, Excel or other
attachments.. This greatly improves the processing
efficiency since HTML, PDF, and other documents can be
stored once and processed over and over using template
reference identifiers instead of re-loading each
document in it's original format.
