Work Experience Highlights:
Writing and Communications
• Provided a diverse range of services including press releases, internal communications, ghostwriting and editing of scholarly
articles to be published, altering style to appeal to the individual client’s needs.
• Managed and maintained event listings and descriptions for twenty-eight websites, inputting and editing approximately 100
entries daily. Social media duties included writing, editing and selecting graphic material for content.

Leadership
• As a Sergeant in the United States Army, led a detachment of support soldiers during Operation Iraqi Freedom (January-August,
2003).

Noncommissioned officers.
• Chosen as Electronic Equipment Test Facility (EETF) Foreman in Illesheim, Germany, and increased overall work order
efficiency over 50% in less than four months.
• Served as the Battalion Hazmat NCO-in-charge, directly responsible for keeping the Battalion in compliance with all OSHA,
HAZMAT, and host nation laws and safety regulations.
Coordination and Planning
• As Battalion Hazmat NCO, coordinated regular inspections of hazardous materials, documentation and storage procedures for
four company-sized units. Also prepped and coordinated units for OSHA and host nation environmental inspection teams.
• Planned and prepared for VIP visits, managing not only incoming briefings and presentations but also recreational and
hospitality aspects of stay.
• Created and gave reintegration presentations to over 2,000 soldiers redeploying from Iraq and Afghanistan.
Accountability
• Assumed sole responsibility for and maintained 100% of the EETF, an automated test equipment system valued at more than
twenty-eight million dollars.
• Chosen to serve as the Battalion Hazmat NCO in charge, directly responsible for keeping the Company in compliance with all
OSHA, HAZMAT, and host nation laws and safety regulations.
• Provided technical support for more than two hundred AH64D Apache helicopters in Iraq/Kuwait, resulting in a cost avoidance
of more than $1.4 million dollars in less than seven months.
• Managed quarterly and monthly fiscal reports for multiple financial accounts on behalf of the Hanau Catholic Community
(Germany), flawlessly accounting for funds in excess of $100,000.
