Substitute teacher
I worked as a substitute teacher for grades Kindergarten 12th, in a
local school district near Buffalo, NY. Five days of the week, I would
formulate lesson plans/curriculum that the Full time teachers would
like me to take on with the students. Subjects included Chemistry,
Biology, Calculus, English and Global Studies. I also helped start a
youth intervention after school program for the adolescents in the

As a type one diabetic myself, I run support group/family sessions for
newly diagnosed type one diabetics (primarily child and adolescents), and
their family members to help them emotionally and physically cope with
their child’s new condition.
