garage and a five-story, 321,000 ft2 medical office building. The structures are designed with
basements up to 15 ft below the groundwater level and will be supported on spread footings. Involved
in open-cut excavation analysis/recommendations below the water table that avoided more expensive
shoring alternatives. Provided project plan and specification review, evaluation and site
monitoring/management for construction progress, documentation of QA/QC findings and
recommendation of field and office engineering changes for consistency with contractual provisions,
and assisted in consultation/RFI response during construction.
