Commercial development site in the Highway 281 Growth Corridor of San
Antonio Texas. Oversaw the Engineering and Entitlement process of a Hard
Corner Commercial site over the environmentally sensitive Edwards Aquifer
Recharge Zone.
< Executed a strategic plan involving a State condemnation preceding
that increased the value of the Taking to $2.2 million, a 313% gain in
a five year period.
< Consulted on a joint venture deal during the development of a new golf
course, and played a pivotal role in raising $3 million of equity in
six months.
Dwyer/Murphy Company-Austin, San Antonio, TX 1996 to 2000
Commercial Sales Manager and Head of Marketing
Joined Dwyer/Murphy Companies, a Real Estate development partnership in
San Antonio and Austin, Texas. Established the first Commercial Brokerage
Division for DMCo to focus on marketing and development aspects of
several large mixed use projects in Austin and San Antonio.
Responsibilities included Commercial and Residential land and lot sales
as well as Tenant Representation for small Austin/San Antonio Development
firm. Successfully sold and closed the commercial parcels associated with
the company's single family developments.
Consulted on all aspects of DMCo's first Garden Office development in
Austin, Texas. Including Site acquisition and Planning, Engineering,
Architecture, Interior finish out, Marketing and Sales. Project was
successfully sold out in less than 18 months enabling the early start of
Phase II.
< Effectively managed valuable relationships with business partners that
allowed associates to generate $8+ million in Sales.
< Boosted revenue for partnership by helping negotiate a complex five-
