. Led three 'Improvement Teams' to improve communications, enhance safety
recognition, and OJT.
. Wrote and implemented Exposure Control Plans for the OSHA's Bloodborne
Pathogen Standard, and employee handbook for three satellite plants.
. Spearheaded development and writing of facility Hazard Communication
Program, Respiratory Protection Plan, Contingency Plan for Fires, and
Spill Procedures.
. Developed over 60 Safe Operating Procedures for equipment and jobs in
manufacturing plant as well as Job Hazard Analysis.
. Developed ADA compliant job descriptions for 50 job positions and chaired
the evaluation process.
. Negotiated seven three-year Labor Agreements for Tupelo facility since
1990 with the UFCW enhancing management's rights and increasing the
worker's contribution levels.
. Arbitrated two grievances.
. Developed recruitment process to include assessment testing with WorkKeys
thereby guaranteeing new hires would obtain fundamental skills required of
65% of jobs.
. Developed OJT program to ensure workers met established criteria within
set timeframes for each job function.
. Developed and implemented Bandsaw Training Program for production
employees to improve quality and efficiency.
. Developed "Buddy System" program for the mentoring of new hires reducing
turnover.
. Trained facility management at eight plants in 16-hour Penn State
