Analyzed department expenses of staffing and fleet vehicles used for transporting executives and customers to company hosted
events. Outsourcing this function to a limousine service resulted in $133,000 annual savings.
Reduced package freight expenses $100,000 annually by issuing a RFQ for this delivery service that had not been quoted or
contracted.
Manage fleet of 465 vehicles leased through a major fleet leasing company. Comparative metrics to other fleets this size indicate “one
of their top managed fleets.” Cost savings through negotiations with Big 3 automobile manufacturers, analysis of vehicle lifecycle costs,
recommendations of vehicles with better gas mileage, and savings through programs with the leasing company have totaled over
$800,000 per year. Instituted a Fleet Council for cross functional analysis of policies and vehicle selection to the organization.
Utilize Lotus Notes for email and scheduling. Worked with IT department to develop automated requisition system and pool car
reservation system.
