Performs Quality Assurance / Quality Control checks on
repaired equipment prior to installation and during
re-commissioning.
Communicate specific welding requirements from approved
qualified welding procedures to personnel performing
this task
Develop inspection and testing requirements for new
construction and repairs to satisfy requirements of
applicable construction codes.
Maintain active database of static equipment (pressure
vessels, piping, PSV's) identified for inspection
utilizing Risk Based Inspection (RBI) principles
Performs Positive Material Identification (PMI) on all
new pipe-work being installed as well as modifications /
repairs involving material changes
Provides input for Reliability monthly report with
respect to Inspection activities
Participates in Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA's) to
troubleshoot equipment / system failures
