. Lead a team of 60 Marine officer applicants
. Responsible for recruiting officers for the state of Arizona
. Evaluate 750 Marine officer applicants annually, from which 35 are
selected to attend Officer Candidate School
. National Performance Ranking: Sixth (out of 107) for overall officer
recruiting in 2009; ninth in 2010
. Finished first (out of 10) for overall officer recruiting for the 8th
Marine Corps District (AZ, NM, TX, CO, OK and KS) in 2011
. Over a three year period maintained an Officer Candidate School

. Commissioned 37 Marine Corps officers currently serving on active duty
Helicopter Pilot
May 2004-November 2008
. Leadership: Commanded a crew of five, responsible for safety of
flight, airborne instructions, and mission accomplishment piloting a
$36M CH-53E helicopter. Successfully flew 890 total flight hours.
. Management: Extensive planning experience gained through holding all
but one of the major positions within an aviation squadron Operations
Department; Second in charge of the Operations Department, oversaw all
flight training for 75 aircrew members to prepare for deployment;
Pilot Training Officer, ensured flight currency of 75 aircrew members.
Substance Abuse Control Officer, managed the random urinalysis testing
and the drug/alcohol awareness program for over 300 Marines
. Deployments: Flew 300 combat hours in support of Operation Iraqi
Freedom. On second deployment to Iraq, was a member of an advisor team
of 11 Marines imbedded with and trained 200 Iraqi Border Policeman on
all logistical, operational and tactical issues.
