MANUFACTURING/EQIUPMENT MAINTENANCE
PROFILE
A Semiconductor equipment background, electrical and mechanical trades
skills. Performed instrumental duties in the installation, qualification,
and sustenance of equipment. Developed three key improvements in MTBF and
down time of complex mechanical assemblies used in my toolset.
My goal is to use my experience and skills to gain experience in " green
technologies". Synergistic relationship allows me to contribute and
participate in an exciting, growing industry while directly benefiting my
environment.
EMPLOYMENT
Intel Corporation, Rio Rancho, NM 87124 11/93-
12/10
Senior Equipment Maintenance Technician
Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD Sputtering) and Inductively Coupled Plasma
Etching (ICP). Conceived and concept to redesign on pneumatic circuit for
inter-chamber wafer transfers, reducing downtime for transfer chuck repair
by 50%. Developed service procedure to replace transfer chuck, resulting in
a uniform site-to-site servicing of transfer chucks with ~25% reduction in
repair time across all sites. The cumulative results of these efforts on
this assembly are expected to be 75% reduction in assembly repair time,
from 48 hours to 12 hours. Other significant timesavings were realized
through optimizing preventive maintenance procedure to reflect the
improvements and maturity of the toolsets. This included work with High
Vacuum, Robotics (six and seven axis), PLC's, Generators (MF, RF,
Microwave), Residual Gas Analyzers, Electrical System, Pneumatics, etc.
