Organized a campus-wide fundraiser for Riley Children’s Hospital,
succeeding in raising approximately $15,000 to date.
Supervised weekly committee meetings, held to plan and develop ideas
to create a successful fundraiser.
Conducted evening study time for the children at A Better Way so the
mothers could hold a nightly meeting.
Worked to help empower women at A Better Way to seek healthy
relationships and meet their personal goals to find a job and a safe place
to live.
Served on the Alumni relations committee, and Risk Management
committee for Phi Mu Sorority.
As an intern at the Alpha Center, I have provided programs for the
clients. I administered games and crafts. I have helped schedule to
programs, and keep the calendar up to date. I planned a June Brides day.
We had wedding cake, drank sparkling champagne, and learned how
different cultures and religions celebrate weddings.
As a volunteer at the Palms of Sebring I do one on one visits with the
residents, make sure their needs are being met physically and mentally. I
administer activities and helped keep the residents spirits up.
