SOFTWARE ENGINEER Atotech USA, Inc. 8/2001 to 1/2004
Serve as Software Engineer for Atotech, a global supplier of processes,
chemistry, services and equipment for General Metal Finishing (GMF),
Semiconductor and Printed Circuit Board Manufacturing with annual
revenues of 567 million euro in 2002. Report to and strategize with the
Project Manager and Business Manager Electronics to discuss and plan
future projects.
Adapted Process Control Software for a $2 Million Hardware - Designed,
installed, tested and started-up the process control software of the
lines for customer in Canada, Texas and China; hardware costs ranged
to $2 million with software costs at 3% to 5% of associated hardware
expenditure. Also designed GUI interface. Proprietary software is
utilized on PC based computers, Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC and runs
in real-time mode. Designed electrical circuit diagrams (and other
documents) for customer's lines using AutoCAD2000 (and MS Office).
Software Support to Major Accounts in Canada, China & US - Provide
software customer support of the PCB-oriented technological equipment.
Key accounts include: US--IBM, Tyco, Compeq, Merix. Canada--VIA
Systems. China--Elec and Eltec. Worked closely with Project Managers

8/2001
Served as Software Engineer for Visutech System Ltd, developing,
supporting and integrating real-time software (PC based) for control and
visualization systems for PCB-oriented horizontal technological lines
designed by Atotech, Germany. Reported to Manager of Software Testing
and Installation.
Software Control Development / Key Account Support - Developed real-
time routines for equipment control using MS Visual C++. Installed
and started-up the control software of the lines for numerous
customers throughout the US, South Korea, Austria and Germany.
Provided customer support to 15-20 key accounts annually. Trained
maintenance and equipment operators in software operation. Worked
closely with Atotech Project Managers regarding project status
throughout all phases of project installation and Software Department
based in Germany to coordinate software changes.
SOFTWARE ENGINEER Belcom Joint Venture, Minsk, Belarus 10/1994 to
9/1995
Served as Software Engineer, providing programming support of products
utilized in CNC networking. Reported to the General Director.
Development of CNC Software Controls - Developed special software for
control of CNC machines via network and software which generated an
additional 40% of the firm's revenue. Offer extensive knowledge of
micro controllers Intel 8051. Modified the RS-232/RS-422 network
manager program for data exchange between PC and CNC group. Developed
software for the carried floppy disc drive to connect to CNC reading
from paper tapes by using Assembly for micro controller Intel 8051.

PROGRAMMER Granat Plant, Minsk, Belarus 1/1990 to 10/1994
PCB DESIGNER 8/1984 to 12/1989
Promoted from PCB Designer to Programmer for the Granat Plant, which
produced robots and staffed over 5,000 personnel. Reported to the Head
of CAD Section.
CNC Software Programming & Testing - Conducted programming and testing
of 15 CNC systems into the local networks at department level within
the plant. Designed and programmed RS-232/RS-422 network manager
program for data exchange between PC and a group of CNC in C language.
Developed CAD/CAM postprocessors for CNC technological equipment for
PCB in C for IBM PC. Developed information storage and retrieval
system based on DEC PDP-11 for standards department at the plant using
Pascal. Completed additional assignments for the Standards Department
and coordinated information flow between our department and PCB
workshop. Trained staff in software operation.
PCB Design Support - Integrated, modified, and coordinated software
services for the plant's production of PCB. Devised routines to
connect PC to the local plotting and printing equipment. Adapted
CAD/CAM PC based technology for the design of PCB and created the
