One of the things that I especially enjoyed was when called upon as

Officer in Charge of the Postal Facilities listed above. It was quite

rewarding to come upon a situation that needed repair and to implement

those repairs in a timely and effective manner.

My time spent within special projects was rewarding for both the Postal

Service and myself. My education and experience were put to the test, as

most of the time, I was working on something that was new to the Postal

Service. This gave rise to new requirements that were to be established

as the service started to use the new programs. The effectiveness of the

new programs in Postal Accounting compliance issues was checked

throughout the entire process to maintain the standards of government

accounting and were found to be sound and were implemented system

wide. This was the most gratifying part of my career with the Postal

Service.
