Technologies
My primary role with Agilent technologies was to perform multiple
complex assignments and tasks in support of the logistics and
distribution areas. This involved a multitude of responsibilities
which included inventory control, cycle counts, ordering and
procurement of Dry Ice and related materials, Dry Ice management
and daily inventory of dry ice levels and related products.
Maintained tracking system through spreadsheet of Dry ice
containers ensuring a complete rotational cycle in adherence to
contractual agreements with supplier. Held QBR (quarterly
business reviews) as well as SRM (Supplier Relationship
Management) reviews with the Dry Ice supplier to ensure
streamlined cost and efficiency efforts. Forecasted and placed
orders of dry ice and related materials while concentrating on
"usage" rather than "storage", thus eliminating waste and
controling costs. Assisted with the Shipments of both
international and domestic orders maximizing efforts in “on time”
delivery and reduction of DEFOA (defect on arrival) rates.
Utilized RF Scan Guns to process orders, performed Job Kitting
Functions of Raw Materials from the WIP (Work In Process) Schedule
to be manufactured into Finished Goods Products while adhering to
stringent compliance of the ISO13485 management system. Performed
receiving functions utilizing SAP and Oracle Procurement based
systems. Processed orders for international shipments which
included preparing shipments with correct weights, labels and
stringent documentation in accordance with International laws and
Dangerous Goods regulations.. Developed and implemented process
improvement ideas and acted as project lead on numerous
assignments within my department. Utilized SAP system to create
and process orders, track and process internal movements and
maintain inventory control. Worked with other departments such as
Lab Personnel, R&D, Purchasing and Planning, Quality Control,
Inventory Analyst and Packaging and Filling to achieve end

2002-2007 Freight/Materials Handler Lead, The Home Depot
My role with The Home Depot was Acting Lead to the overnight
operations area including Head of Garden Recovery, Freight team
Lead, and Pack Down Lead. In conjunction with my lead role I was
also responsible for dispersing incoming freight to the designated
departments, packing out freight, recovering freight from the
overheads to replenish shelves ensuring “in stock” levels and
customer satisfaction and as well as assist with maintaining an
accurate inventory. Assisted others in all departments to
maximize efforts in completing tasks within allotted time
constraints. Trained and coached associates in all the above
mentioned areas as well as provided forklift training and
assistance with forklift certification.
1994-2002 Warehouse Specialist, Unisource/Georgia Pacific
I was responsible for various aspects of distribution from
stocking, order filling, unloading and loading of product via
forklifts, shipping and receiving, stock dispersement, stock
replenishment, generating stock location and inventory reports,
warehouse rack configuration and infrastructure, inventory
control, scheduling of inbound freight, associate training. Also
held a seat on the safety committee in voice of the warehouse. I
served as the department head for the receiving department with a
crew of 8 team members. I managed the freight team and all of
it’s daily functions. Also served as lead shipper responsible for
the daily shipment of outbound freight, organizing freight
transit methods and pickup times, while adhering to quality
control measures as well as hazardous materials and dangerous
goods regulations.
1992-1994 Field Representative/Installer Service Warehouse
Responsible for servicing customer issues and concerns in the
field, acting as Liaison between clients and warehouse management.
I handled such issues as on time delivery, account discrepancies,
delinquent accounts, and CVR(Customer Vendor Relations).

well as performed inside sales.
