I managed commercial risk for Rolls-Royce's civil large engine customer

facing business team in the Americas region by: helping develop the

sales strategy; managing the internal approval process; drafting sales

proposals; and negotiating contracts based upon both precedent and

bespoke terms I personally drafted.

. Successfully negotiated and contracted new engine sale and service

support contract with a new customer in Scandinavia in record time (3

weeks);

. Successfully managed the wind-down of a service support contract of a

bankrupt operator in Mexico;

. Successfully negotiated and contracted a highly complex service

support contract with an operator in Canada which provided improved

margins to the business on existing aircraft, added new aircraft, and

included aircraft from a previously bankrupt airline (at further

improved margins);

. Recommended and successfully managed the first-ever Rolls-Royce

termination of a service support contract just prior to the

declaration of bankruptcy by a US airline. Termination of the contract

resulted in a $500m benefit to the Rolls-Royce group.
