Summary of qualifications

Senior Master Fitness Trainer, ARNG Chief of Staff, U.S. Army National

Guard Command Directorate, Arlington, VA (Active Duty) January 2010 -

Present

Assists the Master Fitness Director in planning, implementing, and

supervising the physcial fitness program for the Army National Guard to

include all Title 10 personnel in the Military District of Washington (2300

personnel); Conducts Special Population Physical Training; Administers

diagnostic and record Army Physical Fitness Tests, Maintains personnel

records, Supervises the maintenance and upkeep of the Tommy Hill Wellness

Center (2 separate facilities); Supports and advises all assigned Soldiers,

Contractors, and Government Civilians in all areas of physical fitness.

Additionally, I am the sole Certified Fitness Trainer (ISSA). Current Rank

is Sergeant First Class.

Plans NCOIC, G-3 Operations, Domestic Operations, U.S. Army National Guard

Command Directorate, Arlington, VA (Active Duty) December 2006 - May 2010

My responsibilities include all administrative tasks for the section to

include but not limited to updating the Branch Chief's weekly update slides

for my programs to include HRF, CCMRF, CST, DCRF, CERF-P. I was responsible

for all Executive Summaries for the section and reviewed Joint and Army

Policies for CBRN Enterprise. I received and answered any Congressional

Inquiries into any of our programs. Additionally, I served as the sole

Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) Subject Matter Expert (SME)

for the Branch and Division Chiefs.

Joint Service Training Lead (Joint Program Office Decontamination/ Kalman

and Company, Inc.) December 2006 - May 2010

I worked as a Training Lead that is titled "Joint Service Training Lead for

JPO-Decon". My responsibilities include updating the Joint Service Training

Plans (JSTRAP's) for my programs. I develop and coordinate New Equipment

Training (NET) for future decontamination systems for all branches of the

service. I am in constant communication with combat developers from each

service, keeping them informed on updates and changes made to the programs.

Additionally, I served as the sole Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear

(CBRN) Subject Matter Expert (SME) for JPO-Decon. I left this job to pursue

more Active Duty time.

Previously, I work as a Training Analyst that is titled "Joint Service

Training Lead for JPO-Decon". My responsibilities include updating the

WMD Training and Logistics Specialist (Battelle) October 2003 - March 2006

I was a Project Leader on an Integrated Procurement Team for several

Government Projects, within Prime Vendor. I have worked for Battelle

Memorial Institute for over 2 years in WMD Training and Equipment

Procurement. I work as the NBC/ WMD Subject Matter Expert for the team as

well as the overall task manager, responsible for up to 3 staff members for

each project. Additionally I also trained DOD responders in WMD Awareness

and Haz Mat Awareness. I have extensive use of Microsoft office, and

Technical report writing.

Other Military experience and achievements 1997 - present

Unit Fitness Non-Commissioned Officer 1997- Present

Assists the Battalion and Company Commanders in planning, implementing, and

supervising the physical fitness program for the units; Conducts Special

Population Physical Training; Administers diagnostic and record Army

Physical Fitness Tests; Supports and advises all assigned Soldiers,

Contractors, and Government Civilians in all areas of physical fitness. Has

served as the Fitness NCO in every unit I have served in.

NBC Survey Team Member May 1999 - October 2003

I was a member of the 62nd Civil Support team from 15 May 1999 to 15

October 2003 as Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Warfare Specialist; Hazardous

Materials Specialist; Sampling, Detection, or Mitigation of any hazardous

substance that our team is called upon to survey. Training local and state

first responders on WMD Emergency Response as well as reviewing and testing

local emergency response plans. Primary duty was to: Respond to potential

terrorist incidents and Natural Disasters in support of local and state

response teams whose resources have been depleted.

During my time with the 62nd CST, I deployed to several High Interest

Vessel searches; Several "white powder' incidents; the 2002 Super Bowl in

New Orleans (post 9/11); Mardi Gras 2000-2003; several Hazardous Material

accidents; as well as serve on the Columbia Space Shuttle "Haz Mat"

recovery team (Louisiana side).

Heavy Construction Equipment Operator (62E20/ 21N4O, Secondary MOS)

Operate Heavy Construction Equipment in combat and peacetime operations.

Held the rank of Corporal E-4.

Senior CBRNE Operations Non Commissioned Officer (74D4J5; Primary MOS)

- With the 62nd CST: I served as a Survey Team member and acted as a Team

Chief when called upon to do so. I also served as a primary trainer for

first responders we trained. Conduct Reconnaissance of contaminated areas,

to Sample unknown toxic substances, Mitigate hazardous materials incidents,

in both combat and peacetime situations.

- With the 229th CM Company: I've served as a Fuel and Water Supply Squad

Leader, and I serve as a Smoke / Decon Platoon Sergeant. I ran a platoon of

male and female soldiers in Motorized Smoke operations and Detailed

Equipment or Troop Decontamination operations.

- Currently, with the 116th Brigade Special Troops Battalion I serve as the

CBRNE Reconnaissance Platoon Sergeant. I lead a platoon of male and female

soldiers in Mission Essential Tasks and manage any and all personnel issues

to include counseling, promotions, soldier development. I also assist the

Platoon Leader in planning and operation management in field environment. I

also served as the acting First Sergeant for 7 months in the absence of a

qualified replacement. My rank is Sergeant First Class (E-7).

Army Technical Escort Course (ASI: J5)

Conduct Agent identification and mitigation operations in hazardous

environments containing Military Munitions, and Military Chemical,

biological, and Radiological agents.

Conduct Environmental Sampling of areas potentially contaminated with

Military N.B.C. warfare agents.

Graduate of the Radiological Emergency Team Operations Course (Defense

Nuclear

Weapons School, Kirtland AFB, NM)

Conduct emergency response operations to a Nuclear Weapons accident/

incident.
