Backscratchers Salon Systems – (Nail care) Elk Grove, CA 2008 – 2011
Graphic Designer/Artist
Expertly created without supervision designs to promote the Backscratchers’ brand (advertisements in beauty magazines
and other marketing materials). Successfully managed design projects from concept through completion and consistently
met deadlines. Designed logos and packaging for two different lines of products and was responsible for the production
and color corrections of print items. Updated the company’s website with Dreamweaver (HTML, CSS), created a new one
in Photoshop (http://www.backscratchers.com) and participated in the making of training videos.
Key achievements:
- Increased sales by giving the Backscratchers’ catalog a new look.

Designed playing cards, packaging, page rules and logos for board games, translated English games’ rules into French,

Collaborated closely with the Marketing Director in assisting the sale force by designing marketing materials and sales
collateral. Conceptualized themes for a marketing incentive tool referred as the “Prize Poster” which generated two posters
a year. Created graphics for a yearly conference, participated in photo shoots and updated the website’s graphics.
